She agrees, happy to have him back for a bit, but ends up having to cancel. A friend of hers and fellow psychic calls in his favor and asks for her help doing tarot card readings at a wedding reception. She can't get out of it, so she goes with him to help out. While reading, she realizes they are at a mob wedding and she just read for a hitman! This book would have been 5★, but I just couldn't understand why she never told Dutch or his ex-partner on the police force, Milo, what was going on with the mob boss. I'm sure if I had those kind of resources and men available to me, I would've called them for help. But, instead she tries to do everything on her own. Her sister could've been killed, her house burnt down... really, how much does it take?!I enjoyed this one more than the first and will definitely be continuing on with the series.
