"Sounding" is not something I wish to experience. I knew that prior to reading this short, but still read it because of some recommendations I received. The author has a way with words (despite the typos), that's for sure. One cannot help but picture each scene as the narrator tries, but ultimately cannot resist the call of his Dark Angel. He wants his limits pushed and the Dark Angel does that and more, I think. Definitely not a story I'd ever re-read, but for those who wish to "experience" sounding without the (physical) pain, this is an alternative.Rating note: While there were typos and other grammatical errors, the writing was well done. Therefore, I based my rating on the writing and not the overall ick-factor of the narrator's experiences or the errors found in spelling, etc.
