Assassin's Honor brings us the world of the Sicari Order. The hero, Ares DeLuca, is a strong, hottie warrior who has always prided himself on his sense of honor. He's sworn never to break the Sicari's code (only kill for Justice, never Revenge) again. He meets and falls for Emma while she's on a dig in Cairo. Her father has always believed this stories of the Sicari and now she's starting to believe them herself. The romance was at times hot while others .... frustrating. Emma has a strong personality and tended to steal from what could've been a 4-5★ book, IMO. But, thankfully, Ares, not I, has to live with her. I did, however, love the side characters: Ares' sister, Phae with her healing powers and Lysander, the wounded warrior. I'm anxious to read their story in Assassin's Heart and have high hopes.
