Moon Sworn (Riley Jenson Guardian, #9)

Moon Sworn (Riley Jenson Guardian, #9) - Keri Arthur From Keri Arthur's Website: "Q: How many books will be in the Riley series?A: I have nine books planned in total. There will be an offshoot series, set in the same world and featuring Risa, Dia’s little girl. It’ll focus more on the Aedh and demons rather than vamps and werewolves."**********Review for BOOK 9 - Spoilers for previous book***********Moon Sworn is, sadly, the last book in the Riley Jenson, Guardian series. As the story begins, Riley is struggling with the loss of Kye, her wolf's soul mate whom she killed in Bound to Shadows and Kade, her occassional partner (at work) and horse shifter. She's only been back to work for a few days when she's called in on a case. She's struggling with staying with the Directorate. She knows that, due to the changes that she continues to experience from the drug, she must work for either the Directorate or the military. Neither of which is something she is interested in doing any longer. The changes can't be ignored though. One of her powers the Directorate doesn't want to lose is her ability to see and speak to spirits of the recently murdered. Can't ask for better help with a case than that. While on this case, she's kidnapped and wakes up with little to no memories. Her "brother" is there to reassure her, but what she's being told doesn't feel right. I gave this book 5★ because I think Keri Arthur did a good job of wrapping things up. When I read it, I didn't know it was the last book of the series, so nothing felt rushed or wrapped to neatly. It did leave me wanting more, but sadly that wouldn't happen. I was happy to see more of Quinn in this one. I love Quinn and am so happy she didn't end up with Kye. I'm looking forward to the new series and hope to learn more about the Aehe, Quinn's "people".[Format Read: Paperback]
