Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs is the hilarious story of a hard-working, under appreciated librarian, Jane Jameson. Her sense of humor had me laughing out loud. Love the contrast between her and her "noble-creature-of-the-night", Gabriel Nightengale. The story was slightly predictable, but I didn't mind reading on and laughed my way through the whole thing.I'm looking forward to Nice Girls Don't Date Dead Men, book 2.**Slight spoilers below**Jane meets her handsome savior in a bar after being fired. "Misery, thy name is Mudslide." Her best friend, Zeb, joins "Friends and Family of the Undead", a support group. Jane has some problems of her own with the whole blood thing ..."I will not drink it in a house, I will not drink it with a mouse. I will not drink it here or there, I will not drink it anywhere ..." She has quite a support group of her own though, a handsome, protective sire, a caring best friend and the ghost of her dead Aunt Jettie... "A stranger drops fake blood on your doorstep, and you're going to drink it? I thought we had a nice long talk about stranger danger when you were seven." Through it all she comes out with a new beau, a wedding to attend, a new job and hope that her parents will soon adjust to her new undead status.
